Brookes College’s Accounting and Payroll Administration Diploma prepares students for a career path in today’s fast-paced business environments. By training with knowledgeable, experienced instructors who are respected professionals in the accounting industry, students will gain the essential computer, accounting, communications, and management skills to give you a well-rounded knowledge of fundamental business principles. You will develop excellent technical knowledge of financial accounting, cost and managerial accounting, Canadian tax, and technology applications, and practice using MS Excel and relevant accounting software such as Sage and QuickBooks for accounting and payroll. This diploma opens the doors to career opportunities as Office Manager, Payroll Administrator/Payroll Accountant, Self-Employed Business Owner and much, much more.
Program Highlights
This program focuses on the career knowledge and skills that students will need to navigate today’s ever-evolving business world. The Accounting and Payroll Diploma program provides the applied accounting, finance, and payroll skills necessary to enhance career prospects in accounting and finance. Graduates can apply to write the Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) examinations. You will participate in a field-related 200-hour practicum where you can put your training into practice and graduate with experience, skills, and confidence.
